Read 1 Peter 5:7.
Peter tells us to cast all our anxiety on God. God loves us and does not want us live lives full of fear and anxiety. Anxiety causes us to worry, nervousness, or unease, normally over an event or something with an uncertain outcome. It's a normal human emotion but sometimes we allow it to fester in our souls. It can make us so nervous we are unable to sleep or focus on anything else. God understands that and wants to help us deal with it. When we out our faith in God and rely on God’s presence power and will, it will help us deal with the anxiety that we all feel from time to time.
Loving God, I give you all of my worries and troubles. Please grant me peace of mind and calm my troubled heart. Help me focus on you and trust your will and power in my life. Amen
