Read Ephesians 4:1-3.
As we begin our ministry together, I am reminded of Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus when he challenges them to walk or live in a manner worthy of their calling. This is not just for pastors but for all who confess Jesus as their Savior and Lord. He gives us a short but powerful list of what it looks like to live a life worthy of our calling. We need to live a life of humility, gentleness, patience, love and be intentional about maintaining the unity of the Spirit. When we work together to maintain that unity, we will see great things take place in our lives and in the church. Let us endeavor to live a life worthy of our calling.
