Read 1 John 4:7-8.
Thank you for the love and support you have shown us. The staff, church leadership and everyone we have met has made our transition to Christ Church smooth and welcoming. I look forward to our first Sunday together, getting to know you and becoming a part of the wonderful ministries at Christ Church.
I am reminded of the old campfire chorus we sung when I was a teenager called, “We Are One in The Spirit.” The chorus says, And they'll know we are Christians by our love, by our Love, yes, they'll know we are Christians by our love. Showing mercy, being kind and loving is natural for the Christian because God is love. We need to follow in the footsteps of Christ who said, “‘…Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor a s yourself. Luke 22:37-39.
Personal Worship Option:
Loving God, poor out your love into our hearts so we will love you. Bless us you’re your love so we may Love as you Love! That we may show patience, tolerance, Kindness, caring and love to all! Amen.
