Read Isaiah 52:7.
God says that the feet of those who bring good news are “beautiful”. It is a wonderful privilege to be able to share God’s Good News with others, his news of redemption, salvation, and peace. Sometimes we feel unworthy or insecure to do this very thing. Look at the disciples. Fishermen. who had no formal education, a tax collector, a zealot. Men and women who had very little to offer, from the world’s perspective, yet Jesus called each one to follow Him.
Jesus’ final commission: “You will be my witnesses”. You will spearhead a movement that will explode out of Jerusalem and spill into the ends of the earth. You will be a part of something so mighty, controversial, and head spinning that two millennia from now others will ask: Does Jesus still use ordinary folks as his witnesses? The answer is YES”. So, who do you need to share the Good News with?
