Read Hebrews 11:4-32.
Hebrews 11 is often called the “Hall of Faith,” a powerful reminder of what God can accomplish through those who choose to trust Him. In verses 4 through 32, we are given a sweeping view of men and women who through faith did extraordinary things — not because they were perfect, but because they were focused on God.
These weren’t superheroes. They were ordinary people who believed in an extraordinary God. And their legacy is not rooted in what they could do, but in what God did through them when they trusted God.
What set these people apart was their focus. Their faith wasn’t in outcomes, but in God Himself. They believed God was who He said He was, and that He would do what He promised.
They were not driven by personal ambition, worldly gain, or fear of failure. Their vision was anchored in the unseen — in the eternal purposes of God. Their eyes were not on what the world offered, but on what God promised.
That same focus is what we are called to today. Faith doesn’t mean we always understand God’s plan, but it means we trust His heart. It means saying yes, even when the path is unclear, because we know the One who goes before us.
