Read Matthew 25:31-33.
When Jesus returns, he will separate the sheep from the goats. That is His job, not ours. Jesus used sheep and goats to picture the division between believers and unbelievers. The sheep and goats often grazed together but were separated when it came time to shear the sheep.
God is the one to make that determination. He will separate his obedient followers from pretenders and unbelievers. The real evidence of our belief is the way we act. To treat all people, we encounter as if they were Jesus, is no easy task. What we do for others demonstrates what we really think about Jesus’ words to us. “Whatever you do unto the least of these, you do for me.”

Look for ways to demonstrate grace to each person you encounter today.
