Read Galatians 5:22-25.
Galatians 5:25 says, "If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit". This verse from the Apostle Paul describes how to live as someone who is free in Christ. It means to live a life that is guided by the Spirit of God, rather than being controlled by sinful desires.
Some ways to walk by the Spirit include:
- Acknowledging the Spirit: Start your day by acknowledging that the Spirit is in you and lives in you.
- Paying attention to the Spirit: Pay attention to the Spirit's nudges and moments of conviction.
- Following the Spirit's leading: Trust the Spirit and follow where it leads.
Walking by the Spirit involves: Growing in godliness, Obeying God's commands, and Experiencing increasing intimacy with God
Personal Worship Option:
Dear God, please help me to be aware of your Holy Spirit in my life. Open my spiritual ears so that I can hear his leading. May each step I take be guided by you. Amen
