Read Hebrews 10:23-25.
This scripture is talking about the importance of supporting one another in our faith. The Hebrews were drifting from their beliefs and had given up meeting with each other. We must hold on to the hope we profess, remembering God’s promise of always being with us. We need to be able to continually profess our faith to others. We should stimulate one another to show love and do good deeds. Living the Christian life means encouraging other believers to be loving, to spend our time doing good deeds, and be diligent in gathering together.
Choose today to hold onto God's promises without wavering. Hold on to the promises in the Bible like your life depends on it. Hold onto what God says and know that God will always come through for us on His promises. He will never let you down or leave you. In the storms of life when it seems that God is not with us, help us to pray, read the scriptures, and seek out the encouragement from others around us. God empowers us to share life together. As the body of Christ, we are to be proof of a loving God.
Personal Worship Option:
Dear God, When we are troubled, tired, and discouraged, help us to seek you and feel your spirit within us. Sometimes it is hard to hold fast to our faith. Please help us reach out to others who can give us perspective and encouragement. Thank you for your unending love. Amen.
