Read Ephesians 2:1-10.

Paul was all about grace. Nothing that we can do or say makes any difference whatsoever about our salvation and our relationship with God. From the foundation of the world, God has sought to welcome each one of us into a deep relationship with God. God created us and we are God’s beloved… and nothing that we can do or say can change that. We are saved by our faith in God alone. But even before we have faith, God is calling us, even wooing us to be in relationship with God. And as we accept that relationship of love and grace in God, He calls us deeper into a life changing and life affirming relationship that prioritizes love: love of God and love of neighbor, as our standard.

This morning, as the message is offered in worship, we encourage you to drop your guard and simply surrender yourself to the work of God through Jesus Christ calling you into a deeper relationship that is life affirming and life-enabling.

Personal Worship Option:

I invite you to meditate about how God has moved in your life and how you can see God’s work in you. I invite you to pray: Gracious God, thank you for loving me and inviting me into your desire. Help me to know that nothing I do can earn me your favor; that it is offered freely because of who you are. Then let me share your love and grace with others, inviting them into this state of grace and glory with you. Amen.
