Read John 3:16-17.

The word “grace” is not found in these verses, but they beautifully describe what it means. We are never “good” enough to merit receiving God’s gift of His Son - but He gave anyway. God is enough. Isn’t that the message of Moses, Joshua, Joseph, Peter, and Paul and many others? Who provided all the resources needed? Who opened doors and rivers and seas? Who brought down walls and barriers? Who fought for and delivered the people?

God!

He cares for His people. Even when the people grumbled and complained. Even when the people strayed and followed other gods. God offered forgiveness, grace, mercy, and love.

God provided for those who are recorded in Scripture and God continues to provide for his people today. Receive God’s gift and embrace His love, forgiveness, and grace and then share it with someone else.

Personal Worship Option:

Spend some time reflecting on your relationship with God. Offer Him praise and thanksgiving.
