Read Psalms 146 and 150.

Foundational to our faith is worship of God. These are the first and last of the closing section of the Psalms, which is focused on praising God. These Psalms praise God for his abundant provision, his greatness and his love. We are the recipients of his outpouring, and our first response should be to praise the Lord! The phrase in Psalm 146, “I will praise the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.” is echoed in Psalm 150, “Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.”

Worship and praise are that “thank you” that can’t be silenced. As we acknowledge who God is, what more can we do except to praise and worship. Worship is that voluntary act of gratitude offered by the saved to the Savior, by the healed to the Healer, and by the delivered to the Deliverer. PRAISE THE LORD!

Personal Worship Option:

Find a new way to praise God. Learn to play an instrument. Take up a new activity that will help you learn more about God or his creation. Sing a song of praise in your car. In whatever way God speaks to you - praise Him today!
