Devotion:
Read Acts 2:37-41.
As the people listened to Peter’s powerful message, they were moved and asked, “What shall we do?” This is the basic question we all must ask. To repent and embrace God’s forgiveness of sins. This changes the direction of your life. Christ offers mercy, forgiveness, guidance, and purpose. Turning from our sins and following the way of Christ will have an effect on our children and future generations. Families who incorporate biblical principles and truths into daily life impact their children’s faith immensely. It may seem like a small thing to acknowledge a gorgeous sunset, but that lays a foundation to capture the majesty and grandeur of God. Verbalizing our faith story within our families, the hard and joyous, enables children to catch sight of God’s work in their lives and in the world.
Personal Worship Option:
Has God spoken to you through His Word or through the words of another believer? Then ask God what you should do and obey. Your choices not only impact you today, but may have consequences for those who come after you.
